One Year to Go!

One year from today,  I will be getting married. It’s hard to believe.

Realizing that I “only have a year left” to plan this shindig has given me a jolt, so I spent a lot of time of yesterday making calls and figuring out wedding stuff. I realized I actually have a lot done:

Ceremony Venue – Check.
Reception Venue – Check.
Officiant – Check.
Caterer. Photographer. Videographer. Check. Check. Check.

I just put down a deposit on some chairs for you all to sit in while you watch our vows, and the string trio will be booked shortly. We’re meeting with a possible cake person in a few weeks. So really, it’s just a florist, a DJ and the dress.

Of course, it’s really more than that: Invitations, hotel rooms, the details about the ceremony, the menu, bridesmaid’s dresses, tuxedos and more. But really, we’re making plenty of progress!
