Since people keep asking, here’s the latest with our newly acquired backyard.
We took over the street and caused a lot of noise with a recent job to remove a very large, old pecan tree. The tree was leaning a lot, dropping lots of big branches, and was one bad storm away from falling on a house. Vines were pretty much devouring it also so it was time to take care of it.
These guys had all the latest toys. A crane, a remote controlled stump grinder, and easily a few chainsaws for each of them. The team of just three had this tree down and chopped up all before lunch. We saved a stack of wood to be split later for a future fire pit.
Amazingly, these guys cleaned everything up and we were really impressed with their work. Now, there’s more space in the backyard and no reason we don’t move on to building the fence.
