Chocolate bars are easy to find, but not all of them are worth the calories. Part of this challenge is to support local bakeries and businesses when possible. And when doing that, you’ll inevitably stumble onto something more superior than Hershey’s.
It was a no-brainer to head to Escazu for a chocolate bar. They have many from which to choose, plus some tasty other truffles and treats. We’ve been there before, and it was a nice walkable errand from my office.
There’s not much else to say except that we highly recommend this place if you’re seeking some amazing chocolate in Raleigh. We ate the sea salt 60% cacao bar at home after dinner and it was a hit — no surprise. Delicious. That’s all you need to know.
