In Lemon Cake, marshmallow twists are easy and quick to make. The image shows a tri-color confection in a shape that’s twisted — or at least, that’s what we assume based on the game image.
In reality, we had to adjust this one to count is as part of our dessert challenge. No one sells marshmallow twists, at least that we could find. Luckily, I subscribe to a cooking magazine that had a recipe for homemade marshmallows. One of the options is to add freeze-dried strawberries and some lemon zest, so I figured that would do nicely.

I have never made anything with gelatin before, but these turned out really well. I did not bother to twist them, but hey, it counts! And of course, they are far superior to any store-bought marshmallow! I might try these again during hot chocolate season. 🙂
