We’d been following this bakery, Paul and Jack, for a few months as part of the Lemon Cake Challenge and finally we made the detour up to Wake Forest to check them out. Side note, their Instagram looks delicious. Tucked in a small shopping center, the looks were ok but that doesn’t matter much as the baked goods looked and tasted fantastic!
We went with the Cinnamon Roll as our Lemon Cake ‘Sweet Roll’ choice. They gave us the icing separately so you could spread it however you want, with as little or as much as you want. (it was a generous amount I thought)
We had to take our treats to-go but that didn’t matter much. They were gone instantly.
