The day before Election Day, a write-in candidate was added to the list — the list of possible venues, that is.
Someone mentioned Raleigh’s Fred Fletcher Park to me and spoke highly of it. So on Election Day Tuesday, I drove over to check it out. The grounds were lovely, and there were two houses on the property, one of which I’m told is historic.
