I keep hearing people say they barely remember their wedding. How sad.
They’re probably right of course. Still, it never hurts to have a backup.
Leo and I weren’t originally planning to hire a videographer. Frankly, it’s one more cost. You’ve already got a gazillion photos. And sometimes those people are really annoying. Two photographers AND a videographer bumbling around? Jeez.
But what got me in the end was the idea of seeing how my wedding looks from the aisle — from your perspective as you sit in the lush and lovely Nash Square next year. Plus, right then I got an email from a videographer who was offering an incredible sale. Her natural light, natural sound videos won’t be intrusive (we hope) and will be professionally shot and edited, saving me the trouble of asking guests to hold up some flipcams.
Hopefully, it will provide me an idea of what this whole shindig looks like from the other side. And maybe, years from now, I’ll actually remember how my wedding day went.
What do you think? Did you hire a videographer for your wedding? Or are you planning to?
