Chocolate chip cookies are easy to find — sort of. We found a lot of them on our journeys to area bakeries. Because they are ubiquitous, we often chose another dessert — something less findable — at locations where they were available. Then, when we really started looking, we couldn’t find one! At least, not if we’re sticking to our rule of not repeating a location.
However, the North Carolina State Farmer’s Market has some amazing cookies from appropriately named vendor, The Cookie People. One weekend we ventured there to get our pumpkins, some mums, and of course, dessert.
Naturally, we had to buy two cookies, one chocolate chip and one with Reese’s Pieces. Both were delicious, but I think the latter might have the edge.
